One month contract, May '09
  • This project was a collaboration portal based on Digital Function's Kalibrate CMS product. I was awarded a one month contract to bring the project back on track after delays and shortage of resources had caused it to fall behind.

  • Developed collaboration controls including document sharing and discussions; event scheduler and calendar for committees, trustees, and members; a member directory with advanced search control to organize trustees, creditors, and three types of office staff.

  • Planned and met project milestones for member directory, advanced search, committee portal, staff management, and event calendar.

The Greensheet
  • Worked in Agile/Extreme Programming iterations to build a commerce web site based on the Sitecore CMS platform.

  • Utilized SSO and mixed authentication – Active Directory on the back end, Forms Authentication on the front end.

  • Managed deployment from development environment to pre-production systems. Created reproducible content packages to transfer data across system boundaries

 

Edge Electronics

 

  • Development of eCommerce web solution centered around BVSoftware’s Commerce package. The project was developed for a client composed of many companies. Each company had a separate web site and a common supplier. We developed a multi-company store that could function within each sub-company’s web site.

  • Public site included product catalog, shopping card, payments via credit card, purchase orders, google checkout, paypal, and shipping using FedEx and UPS APIs.

  • Admin site allows for dynamic configuration of public pages. Site administrators can choose page layouts, add custom content, and change site settings during runtime. Also allowed reporting access for site and business statistics such as volume, pending orders, requested price quotes, etc.

  • Back-end data site created in Sharepoint. Members of the cooperative could bulk upload product catalogs, promotions, and changes show immediately in public sites.

     

 

Edge Member sites
  • Added content to Edge member sites using Steel Studios' proprietary CMS  platform (named SMS).  These sites were done with PHP/Apache/MySql

  • Provided interface to edge store using an iFrame embedded in a content page.

Enterprise Compensation
  • Within a month of my hire we lost the lead developer for the Enterprise Compensation project. I became the sole developer and was able to resolve defects and deploy the project to beta testing.


Customer Loyalty System (CLS) UI
  • A new agent interface for the Continental’s OnePass (frequent flyer) system, which was internally named as the Customer Loyalty System (CLS). The new interface is an AJAX enabled web application that utilizes predictive fetch patterns and an asynchronous data retrieval model to minimize CSR wait time.

  • Re-architected internal software structure to ease future update and enhancement capabilities

  • Consulted by other groups on how to implement .NET technologies into other projects.

PPO Checks to Quickbooks bridge
  • Developed a web service solution that allowed a sister company to upload PPO check data to our systems for printing, and reconcile against accounting's Quickbooks application.

  • Quickbook API required authentication from within Quickbooks to access check data.

  • Web service written in C#, UI written in VB.NET


HEI Dashboard
  • Consolidated a collection of C# windows form applications into a tabbed VB.NET web application.

  • Provided a unified interface for business users, and an administrative back end for managers to edit user credentials and permissions

  • Programmatically generated PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Documents using Aspose components.


Dynamic PEAT Claim Labeler Engine
  • Different clients required differring field titles for their PEAT claim forms (ie "Address 1"' and "Addr 1").  This was across a large number of static pages.

  • Created a class library to manage a server cache object containing the names of pages, controls, and the specified values.

  • Created a crawler engine that scanned source files and inserted code to interface with the labeler.


Stratacare Nightly Data Pump
  • Existing process ran 6 hours daily and was proned to errors at least once a week.

  • Converted C# Windows service into VB.NET Web Application

  • Increased performance by 12x (from 6 hours to 30 minutes):

    • Created 7 concurrent threads to execute DTS packages

    • Each thread restarted on error and sent update emails


Marine Corp Civilian Services (MCCS) Workers Compensation Site
  • Maintained web site for processing and managing MCCS Workers Compensation claims,

  • Provided validated form input for LS202, LS202a, and LS210 forms, and generated PDF files for printing
